Welcome to Socorro ISDHere at SISD, we pride ourselves in
providing the best education possible for our students to ensure that their
future is as bright as it can be.  We also understand the important role that
families play in our children's education.  This page is dedicated to the new
families joining our community.The Socorro Independent School District is
located in the southeastern portion of El Paso County, Texas. We serve the City
of Socorro, Horizon City, and the eastern portion of the City of El Paso. In
doing so, we cover 136 square miles of El Paso County. The District's northern
boundary is the Texas/New Mexico line its southern boundary is the Rio Grande
